One-Shot Adventure about faith, charity, and hope of defeating a horde of icy undead invasion! Designed for 5e

Latest Updates from Our Project:

Welcome to the Garden of Vengeance
20 days ago – Sat, Sep 28, 2024 at 07:59:44 AM

Winter is over, and it's a great time to visit Baroness Maral's garden.

Of course the garden is in Saltfork so it's a bit... odd.

"The Garden of Vengeance"

A smaller project with some fun quest hooks, and 2 roll tables because we loooove rolling dice! Make more revenge quests or magical garden tools.

Just £1 and the Garden is ready to place either in Saltfork or anywhere in your game world

As always, thanks for the support and do share with fellow gaming friends :)

The goblins are coming!
8 months ago – Tue, Feb 20, 2024 at 09:45:37 AM

Survivors of the ice giant invasions... you deserve a nice relaxing visit to the local tavern. While you're there, why not have a play of the latest card game "Goblin Plunder"? Bet against each other and the house, and see if you can steal more treasure than the Dragon! (aka, the house)

And if you like fully fledged card games, good news! Goblin Plunder is a stand alone game, too.

Click to get your copy!

As a print and play design, you don't need to wait for production and shipping - as soon as the campaign ends you'll get your digital files to print, just like the D&D adventures you've come to know and love.

I look forward to seeing you at the game table, collecting gems, coins, swords and skulls.

BackerKit surveys LIVE!
10 months ago – Tue, Dec 19, 2023 at 12:27:20 PM

I'm hitting that 'send' button in just a few minutes - so keep an eye out on your email. The surveys will come from BackerKit, and after completing you'll have access to your downloads. A couple notes to help:

1. If you don't see a 'Download' link at the end, check in your 'My Surveys' page. From your profile name drop down menu choose 'My Surveys', and on the next page click the 'Giant's Blessing' project. You should see a 'Download' link there if the files are available.

2. If you purchase any add-ons, I need to manually approve card charges before Backerkit releases the downloads. You should receive an email saying the order is placed, and you can find your 'Download' link the same way as above once charged. I promise I'm checking these often to release downloads as soon as possible :)

3. If you don't see an email from Backerkit by tomorrow, drop me a message here. I can find your personal direct link and message it back, just in case the Backerkit is going to a spam folder.

and any other questions - just ask :)

If you do run the adventure, I would absolutely love to hear how it went, things your players did, and any other feedback. Have fun, and happy holidays!

The giant is on his way...
10 months ago – Sat, Dec 16, 2023 at 01:58:50 PM

Fully funded and project done! You've all been great on this journey through the wilderness.

What comes next?

Kickstarter will start to process payments over the next few days. They usually try cards twice if there's a problem the first time.

And I will be finishing up the PDF files and backer surveys. You should see the survey from Backerkit.com - so keep an eye out for the email early in the week! As soon as you fill out the survey it will end with a link to download your adventure file.

Until then, I hope you keep out of the cold and start or continue your holiday celebrations.

and we shall end sharing another indie project - Another first time Kickstarter adventurerer Dunmore Rolls Rocks has a rocking little jailbreak quest!

Jailbreak! A DnD 5e adventure!

Welcome to Fullshank Prison

Inspired by the music of Thin Lizzy, welcome to a hard rock heist! Jailbreak! can function as a as a one shot or a short campaign, a way to create interesting backstories or to give your characters a cool way to meet for the first time. Maybe they've been hassling shopkeepers again? Maybe they ignored that sidequest you spent hours crafting? Maybe they fought the law and the law won?  Shawshank their asses and make them crawl through a sewerful of slurry!

Your characters are thrown in jail and need to escape but they must do so without any of their armour or items, and in an environment where magic is closely guarded and every spell will need actual components to perform.  Make your players read spell descriptions closely! Can they beg, borrow, deal and steal the things they need to escape?  Can they perform verbal and somatic components under the watchful gaze of Warden Spinel and his eagle-eyed guards? Can they survive the attentions of Gewalt Drang and the Bullyboy?

Quadrupled the goal!

Quadrupled the goal!

You all rock, the project has hit 400% funded. Tonight I'm running a last test play with a level 8 party of some old friends who helped create Saltfork in the first place - so it should be fun to surprise them with this new tale. There always was a Giant's Blessing, but we as a D&D group never fully established the story behind it... until now!

Will update you once more before the project wraps up here, on Friday evening. Until then, keep rolling those dice.

I just couldn't pass up this fun adventure - a one-off of carols and Christmas hijinx! Check out Fable in Tales first Kickstarter project:

 Violent Night: A Christmas Carol

“Violent Night” combines the cut and thrust of D&D with the drunken hijinx of the office Christmas party. And every part of the adventure is inspired by an eclectic playlist of your favourite festive music.

You will play as a group of cutthroat carol-singers, on a quest to bring Christmas cheer to the darkest corner of your world - the village of Humbug. This wintry one-shot also includes custom Christmassy equipment, races, spells and backgrounds for your session sub-zero.
